No Steam or Reduced Steam Output
Is your SteamElite Plus heating up but producing little or no steam?
This may be related to the water level, heating time, steam settings or how the steam controls are being operated.
Our troubleshooting guide explains how to check the water supply, steam trigger, temperature and ready indicators, along with other possible causes of reduced steam performance.
SteamElite Plus Not Producing Steam
Iron Not Heating Up
Is your SteamElite Plus switching on but the iron's soleplate remains cold or isn't reaching the selected temperature?
The SteamElite Plus 332013 has separate controls for soleplate temperature and steam output. If the iron isn't heating correctly, the issue may be related to the temperature dial, power supply or automatic shut-off feature.
Our troubleshooting guide explains:
- How to check the temperature dial and heating indicator.
- What to do if the soleplate remains cold.
- How to check whether automatic shut-off has activated.
- The difference between an iron that isn't heating and one that isn't producing steam.

Water Dripping or Pouring from the Soleplate

Electrics Tripping or RCD / Circuit Breaker Trips
Does your SteamElite Plus cause the electricity supply, circuit breaker or RCD to trip?
An electrical trip is a safety warning and should not be ignored.
It may indicate an electrical problem with the appliance, its power supply or the household electrical installation.
If your appliance trips the electrics, stop using it, switch it off and unplug it if safe to do so.
Do not repeatedly reconnect the appliance or reset the circuit breaker to test it. Do not dismantle or attempt to repair the steam generator.
Our guide explains the relevant safety precautions and how to request further assistance.
