The Auto Clean cycle should be run when the descale indicator light illuminates — this happens automatically after approximately 5 litres of water have been used.
Follow the steps below to descale safely and effectively.
1️⃣ Prepare the Appliance
Switch off the steam generator and allow it to cool completely.
Remove the detachable water tank and ensure it is clean.
Place the steam generator on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
2️⃣ Fill the Water Tank
Fill the tank with enough water to complete the Auto Clean cycle.
Use the recommended 50% tap water + 50% demineralised/distilled water mix.
❌ Avoid pure demineralised water, scented water, or ironing water — these can contribute to limescale or affect steam performance.
3️⃣ Run the Auto Clean Cycle
Press the On/Off button to start the Auto Clean process.
The descale indicator light will flash while the cycle runs (approx. 3 minutes).
During the cycle, the unit will flush the boiler, emptying dirty water and limescale into the dirty water chamber.
