Replace the lid correctly and place the kettle securely onto its power base.
2. Activate the control screen
Make sure the kettle is connected to the mains supply.
When connected, the kettle will beep and the Power symbol will illuminate to show that the kettle is in standby mode.

5. Let the kettle heat the water
When you select a temperature below 100°C — 90°C, 85°C, 80°C, 60°C or 40°C — the Keep Warm indicator will flash and the kettle will begin heating the water.
The temperature display will increase as the water heats.
When the selected temperature has been reached, the kettle will beep twice to let you know the heating cycle has finished.
How to boil water to 100°C
If you want to fully boil the water, you can use the standard boiling function.
With the full control screen illuminated, press the Power symbol again.
The temperature display will flash, followed by the boiling symbol, to show that the kettle is heating the water to 100°C.

What happens when I select a temperature below 100°C?
When you select 90°C, 85°C, 80°C, 60°C or 40°C, the kettle will heat the water to your chosen temperature.

If you don't want to use Keep Warm, you can deactivate this function through the Alexa app.
