Having trouble with manual setup?
If Alexa can't find your kettle, try the following:
Make sure the kettle is in pairing mode
Press and hold the SET button until all LEDs flash three times and the kettle beeps three times.
If this doesn't happen, release the button and try again.
Keep your phone close to the kettle
During setup, keep your smartphone or tablet reasonably close to the kettle so that Alexa can detect it.
Check your Wi-Fi
Make sure your phone or tablet is connected to your Wi-Fi network and that you have entered the correct Wi-Fi password.
The kettle requires a compatible Wi-Fi connection for setup.
Restart the setup
If the kettle isn't found, try closing and reopening the Alexa app and repeat the manual setup process from:
Devices → + → Add Device → Kettle → Morphy Richards
Then select Don't have a code? again.
