If your Morphy Richards Halo 1.5L Alexa Kettle isn't keeping the water warm, check your temperature setting and the Keep Warm setting in the Alexa app.
Before you start
The Keep Warm function doesn't operate at 100°C.
It's available when your kettle is set to:
- 90°C
- 85°C
- 80°C
- 60°C
- 40°C
When activated, Keep Warm maintains the selected temperature for up to 2 hours.
What to check if Keep Warm isn't working
1. Check your selected temperature
If you've boiled the water to 100°C, the kettle won't keep the water warm afterwards.
To use Keep Warm, select:
90°C, 85°C, 80°C, 60°C or 40°C
The kettle will heat the water to the selected temperature and, with Keep Warm activated, maintain it for up to 2 hours.
2. Check Keep Warm is activated
Open the Amazon Alexa app and select your Morphy Richards Kettle.
The kettle's main control screen includes an option to switch the Keep Warm function on or off.
Make sure Keep Warm is switched on.
3. Check how long Keep Warm has been running
The Keep Warm function operates for 2 hours.
Once this period has ended, the kettle will no longer continue maintaining the selected temperature.
4. Check the kettle has power
Make sure your kettle is correctly positioned on its cordless power base and the base is connected to the mains supply.
5. Try selecting the temperature again
Choose one of the supported temperatures:
90°C, 85°C, 80°C, 60°C or 40°C
The Keep Warm indicator should flash and the kettle will begin heating. Once the selected temperature is reached, the kettle will beep twice.
