3. I Purchased from Another Retailer – What Should I Do?
If you purchased your Morphy Richards appliance from Amazon, Argos, Currys or another retailer, please check your user manual and our online troubleshooting guides first.
If the problem continues, you can contact Morphy Richards Customer Support for further troubleshooting assistance.
Our team will review the information and help determine whether the issue can be resolved.
If the fault cannot be resolved through troubleshooting, you'll be referred back to your original retailer to discuss the appropriate resolution under your statutory consumer rights. Any applicable manufacturer's warranty support will be assessed separately under its terms.
Your contract of sale is with the retailer, who is responsible for your statutory consumer rights.
The Morphy Richards Return Centre cannot process returns for purchases made through other retailers.
For further information, see our Faulty Morphy Richards Appliance Bought from Another Retailer guide.
4. Do I Need to Return My Faulty Appliance?
Not always.
Many issues can be resolved through troubleshooting, and a physical return may not be necessary.
Depending on the circumstances, our team may request additional information, photographs or a video to help assess the issue.
If a return is required, we'll provide the appropriate instructions.
Please don't send your appliance back without authorisation.
5. Will I Receive a Refund or Replacement?
The appropriate resolution depends on where you purchased the appliance, when it was supplied and the circumstances of the fault.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:
- Within 30 days of receiving faulty goods: You may have the right to reject them for a full refund.
- After 30 days: Your statutory rights generally provide for a repair or replacement in the first instance. Morphy Richards does not offer an appliance repair service, so we'll assess the appropriate available resolution for products purchased directly from us.
- After six months: You may need to demonstrate that the fault was present when the goods were supplied to pursue a claim under your statutory rights.
If you purchased from another retailer, that retailer is responsible for handling your statutory consumer rights.
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are separate from any manufacturer's warranty.
