Purchased your Morphy Richards appliance from Amazon, Argos, Currys, John Lewis or another retailer, and it's not working as expected?
We're happy to help you troubleshoot the problem before you consider returning your appliance.
If the issue cannot be resolved, your original retailer is responsible for handling your statutory consumer rights.
1. What Should I Do If My Appliance Is Faulty?
Many common appliance problems can be resolved without needing a return or replacement.
Before contacting your retailer:
- Check your product's user manual for operating instructions and troubleshooting advice.
- Visit our Morphy Richards Help Centre for product-specific troubleshooting guides.
- Follow the recommended steps to see whether the problem can be resolved.
If the issue continues, please contact Morphy Richards Customer Support.
Our team can help troubleshoot the issue and advise on the next steps.
2. Can Morphy Richards Arrange a Return or Refund?
No. We cannot process returns or refunds for products purchased from another retailer.
Your purchase contract is with the retailer you bought the appliance from.
If troubleshooting doesn't resolve the issue, you'll need to contact your original retailer to discuss the appropriate resolution.
The Morphy Richards Return Centre is only for purchases made directly from morphyrichards.co.uk.
3. What Are My Consumer Rights If My Appliance Is Faulty?
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, your statutory rights are generally against the retailer that sold you the appliance.
Depending on when the goods were supplied and the circumstances of the fault, you may be entitled to a refund, repair or replacement.
Your retailer is responsible for assessing and handling your statutory rights.
These rights are separate from any manufacturer's warranty.
4. What Information Should I Provide If I Need Help?
If you'd like our assistance with troubleshooting, please provide:
- Your product model and serial number.
- The retailer and date of purchase.
- A description of the problem.
- Details of any troubleshooting already attempted.
- Photographs or a video, where relevant.
This will help our team understand the issue and provide appropriate guidance.
5. What If My Appliance Is Still Under Warranty?
If your appliance is within its manufacturer's warranty period, you can contact us for troubleshooting and warranty support, subject to the applicable warranty terms.
Proof of purchase must clearly show:
- The date of purchase.
- The product purchased.
- The retailer.
For more information, see our Morphy Richards Warranty: Cover, Registration and Claims.
Your manufacturer's warranty does not replace or affect your statutory consumer rights against the retailer.
