If your Morphy Richards product is not working as expected, the easiest way to request warranty support is to complete our online warranty support form.
Our Customer Support team will review the information, help with appropriate troubleshooting and confirm the next steps. Submitting a claim does not automatically mean a replacement will be approved.
Step 1: Check your warranty cover
Your warranty period depends on your purchase date, the product’s advertised cover and any applicable registration requirements.
- Purchased directly from www.morphyrichards.co.uk: Your product automatically qualifies for its applicable extended warranty. Separate registration is not required.
- Purchased from another retailer from August 2023 onwards: Most appliances have a standard two-year guarantee, extended to three years in total when registered within 28 days of purchase with agreement to join Morphy Rewards.
- Purchased before August 2023: Products generally have a standard one-year guarantee. Longer registered cover varies by product and should be checked against the supplied instruction manual.
- Products advertised with different warranty periods: The applicable advertised cover is honoured when its conditions have been met. This includes certain four-year appliance guarantees, five-year housewares warranties and 15-year pan-set warranties.
Your standard guarantee still applies without registration. Consumable parts are covered for manufacturing faults for the first six months from the original purchase date.
For full details, read our Morphy Richards Warranty: Cover, Registration and Claims guide.
Step 2: Follow the troubleshooting advice for your product
Many common problems can be resolved through straightforward checks, cleaning or adjustments.
Follow the advice in your product’s instruction manual or our Product Support and Troubleshooting guides.
Use instructions intended for your specific model. Water requirements, cleaning procedures and operating instructions can differ between products.
Make a note of the checks you have completed and what happened. This helps our team avoid asking you to repeat the same steps unnecessarily.
If you believe the product may be unsafe, stop using it and contact us. Do not attempt further troubleshooting or recreate the problem for photographs or video.
Step 3: Gather your product and purchase details
Please have the following information ready:
- Model or product number.
- Serial number, where applicable.
- Purchase date and retailer.
- Morphy Richards UK order number, if purchased directly from our website.
- Proof of purchase, if it was not uploaded during registration.
- Warranty registration confirmation, where applicable.
- A description of the problem, including when it started.
- Details of troubleshooting already attempted.
For electrical appliances, model and serial numbers are usually on the rating label on the base or rear. For housewares, check the packaging or supplied product information.
Do I need to provide proof of purchase?
For purchases from another retailer, proof of purchase is required to confirm where and when the product was bought.
If you uploaded proof of purchase during registration, our team can check the document held on your record. If you did not upload it, attach it to your claim.
For direct purchases from www.morphyrichards.co.uk, we hold a record of the sale. Provide your order number and the email address used for the order so we can locate it.
If you have lost proof of purchase from another retailer, check your emails for an order confirmation or ask the retailer for a copy.
Step 4: Include photographs or video where possible
Clear photographs or a short video can help us understand the issue and check the product’s condition.
Where relevant, include:
- The product’s rating label.
- The affected part or area.
- Any visible damage.
- Error messages or indicator lights.
- A short video showing the reported issue, if safe to record.
For irons or steam generators, we may also request photographs of the soleplate and information about the water used and cleaning or maintenance carried out.
Only record the problem if it is safe to do so. Do not dismantle the product or repeat an incident that could cause harm.
Our team may request further evidence if the information supplied does not allow us to assess the issue.
Step 5: Submit the warranty support form
- Open our online warranty support form.
- Complete the required contact, product and purchase fields.
- Describe the problem and the troubleshooting already attempted.
- Attach your supporting documents, photographs or video where possible.
- Submit the form and keep the acknowledgement email for reference.
If our team requests additional information, reply to the existing email conversation so the details remain together.
What happens after I submit my claim?
Our team will review your information and may guide you through further troubleshooting.
If the issue cannot be resolved through troubleshooting, we will assess whether it falls within the applicable warranty cover. Depending on the assessment, we may provide a replacement part or product, or explain another appropriate next step.
We do not offer a repair service.

Products purchased from another retailer
If you purchased from another retailer and the product is within the first 12 months from purchase, our team will help with troubleshooting first. If the issue remains unresolved, we will normally direct you to the retailer for the next steps.
After the first 12 months, our team can assess eligible claims within the remaining manufacturer’s warranty period.
Product safety concerns require separate assessment. Contact our team promptly if you believe the product may be unsafe, regardless of where you purchased it.
Will I need to return the product?
Not every claim requires a return. Our team will explain whether your product needs to be returned and provide the relevant instructions.
In some cases, we may request the product for examination or further investigation by our Quality Assurance team. Any proposed resolution will depend on the findings and the applicable warranty terms.
Please retain the product and do not return or dispose of it unless our team has instructed you to do so.
What if the product was supplied under another company’s licence?
Some Morphy Richards products were manufactured, imported or distributed under another company’s licence, such as Argos or RKW Ltd. Warranty support for these products is handled by the responsible company rather than Consumer Brands Limited.
Check the manufacturer, importer or distributor information on the rating label, packaging or supplied product information:
- Consumer Brands Limited: Contact our Morphy Richards UK Customer Support team.
- Argos or RKW Ltd identified as the supplier under licence: Contact the company named or the original retailer for warranty support.
Buying a product from Argos does not automatically mean Argos provides its manufacturer warranty. Argos also sells products supplied by Consumer Brands Limited.
If you are unsure, include a clear photograph of the label or supplier information in your support request so we can help identify the appropriate provider.
Does a warranty replacement start a new warranty?
No. A replacement supplied under warranty remains covered until the original product’s warranty expiry date.
The warranty does not restart, and you do not need to register the replacement separately.
Your warranty is additional to your statutory rights and does not affect them.
