Your Morphy Richards warranty covers manufacturing faults and defects in materials or workmanship that develop during the applicable warranty period, provided the product has been used and maintained in accordance with its instructions.
Cover depends on your product, purchase date and any applicable registration requirements. This guide explains what is covered, the limits on consumable parts and how to request support.
What faults are covered by the warranty?
A manufacturing fault is a problem caused by the product’s materials or how it was made, rather than accidental damage, normal wear or incorrect use.
A product not working as expected does not automatically mean it has a manufacturing fault. Our Customer Support team will help establish the cause through relevant troubleshooting and assessment.
Many common issues can be resolved through simple checks, cleaning or adjustments. If the issue continues, we will review the information provided and confirm the appropriate next step.
We do not offer a repair service. Depending on the assessment, we may provide a replacement part or product where the fault is covered.
Are consumable parts covered?
Consumable parts are covered for manufacturing faults for the first six months from the original purchase date, even if the product has a longer warranty.
Examples include:
- Coffee carafes and jugs.
- Kettle, iron and coffee filters.
- Lids and water tanks.
- Filler caps and similar replaceable parts.
After six months, these parts are not covered under the warranty. Accidental damage and normal wear and tear are excluded throughout the warranty period, including the first six months.
Many replacement parts are available from the Morphy Richards UK online store. Check the listed model compatibility before purchasing.
What is not covered by the warranty?
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Accidental damage, including damage caused by dropping or breaking a product or part.
- Misuse or failure to follow the product’s instructions.
- Damage caused by incorrect cleaning, maintenance or storage.
- Unauthorised repairs or modifications.
- Non-domestic or commercial use.
- Consumable parts after the first six months from purchase.
The cause of the problem determines whether it is covered. A warranty does not cover every issue simply because it occurs during the warranty period.
How long does warranty cover last?
For most appliances purchased from other retailers from August 2023 onwards, the standard guarantee is two years from the original purchase date. Register within 28 days of purchase and agree to join Morphy Rewards to qualify for three years of cover in total.
Products purchased before August 2023 generally have a standard one-year guarantee. Longer registered cover varies by product and should be checked against the supplied instruction manual.
Some products have different advertised warranties, including certain four-year appliance guarantees, five-year housewares warranties and 15-year pan-set warranties. We honour the applicable advertised period when its conditions have been met.
Products purchased directly from www.morphyrichards.co.uk automatically qualify for their applicable extended warranty. Separate registration is not required.

Which company provides warranty support?
This article describes warranty support provided by Consumer Brands Limited, the operator of morphyrichards.co.uk.
Some Morphy Richards products were manufactured, imported or distributed under another company’s licence, such as Argos or RKW Ltd. Those products have separate warranty arrangements.
Check the company information on your product’s rating label, usually located on the back or base, or on the supplied product information:
- Consumer Brands Limited: Contact our Morphy Richards UK Customer Support team.
- Argos or RKW Ltd identified as the supplier under licence: Contact the company named or the original retailer for warranty support.
The retailer alone does not identify the warranty provider. For example, Argos sells both products supplied by Consumer Brands Limited and remaining stock from its previous licence.
If you are unsure, contact our Customer Support team with your model or product number and a clear photograph of the label or supplier information.
What information is needed to assess a warranty claim?
The easiest way to request support is to complete our warranty support form.
Please include:
- Your model and serial numbers, where applicable.
- The purchase date and retailer, or your Morphy Richards UK order number.
- Proof of purchase if it was not uploaded during registration.
- Your registration confirmation, where applicable.
- A clear description of the issue and any troubleshooting already attempted.
- Clear photographs or a short video showing the problem, where possible.
For direct website purchases, provide your order number and the email address used for the order so we can locate our record of the sale.
We may request additional photographs or video to understand the issue and check the product’s condition. Only record the problem if it is safe to do so.
You can also read our guide to submitting a warranty claim for more information about the process.
Will my product need to be examined?
In some cases, we may ask for the product to be returned to our Quality Assurance team for examination or further investigation.
If an examination is required, we will explain the return arrangements. Any proposed resolution will depend on the findings and the applicable warranty terms.
Please do not return or dispose of the product unless our team has instructed you to do so.
What if I have a product safety concern?
If you believe your product may be unsafe, stop using it. If safe to do so, switch it off and disconnect it from the power supply.
Contact our Customer Support team promptly and explain what happened.
Keep the product available for possible examination, where safe to do so. Do not use, repair, return or dispose of it until you have received guidance from our team.
Does a warranty replacement receive a new warranty?
No. A part or product supplied as a warranty replacement does not restart the original product’s warranty period.
A replacement product remains covered until the original warranty expiry date.
Your warranty is additional to your statutory rights and does not affect them.
