5. How Long Should I Microwave My Toastie?
Cooking times depend on your microwave's power and how brown you prefer your toastie.
The following times are taken from the user manual and are based on a 900W microwave, using a toasted cheese and ham sandwich.
| Browning preference | Cooking instructions | Total time |
|---|---|---|
| Light | 2 minutes, flip, then 1 minute | 3 minutes |
| Medium | 2 minutes 30 seconds, flip, then 1 minute 30 seconds | 4 minutes |
| High | 3 minutes, flip, then 2 minutes | 5 minutes |
Always flip the Mico Toastie Maker halfway through cooking.
These are recommended starting times. Actual cooking times may vary depending on your microwave, ingredients and preferred browning.
